Preferred Files

Our design team relies on high-quality, editable files to turn your gift box vision into reality. These are the preferred formats for optimal results:

• Vector graphics: AI, EPS, SVG (fully scalable, no quality loss)
• Print-ready PDFs: PDF/X-1a (with embedded fonts and bleeds)
• Layered templates: PSD (only for complex designs, with editable layers)
• 3D models: OBJ, FBX (for advanced structural previews)

Note: We recommend avoiding CDR files, as they require specialized software and can cause delays. For questions about file formats, our designers are available via live chat or phone.

Font Guidelines

Typography is key to your brand's identity. Follow these rules to ensure your text prints clearly and professionally:

• Minimum text size: 8pt (smaller text may not print legibly)
• Embed all fonts in your PDF file, or convert text to outlines (paths) to avoid missing fonts
• Use bold, high-contrast colors for text (CMYK or Pantone) to ensure readability
• We protect your font privacy: any paid fonts you share will never be reused or disclosed to third parties

Die Lines & Technical Artwork

Die lines are the engineering blueprint for your gift box, ensuring precise cutting, folding, and assembly. Our team of experts will create these technical files for you for free to avoid production issues like:

• Box misalignment or skewed edges
• Poorly fitting lids or inserts
• Wasted material due to incorrect cutting

Our technical files include: cut lines, crease lines, bleed areas (minimum 3mm), and registration marks, all with an industry-standard tolerance of ≤0.1mm.

Color Accuracy

Our experienced design team ensures your gift box colors are vibrant, consistent, and true to your brand. We use:

• CMYK Printing: For full-color designs, with a built-in RGB→CMYK conversion engine to preserve your original intent
• Pantone Spot Colors: For precise, brand-matched colors that remain consistent across all orders
